Greetings, Earthlings! I’m Martin Logar, a Slovenian tenor who loves exploring the endless dimensions of the human voice. My journey has taken me through a galaxy of styles and musical constellations, allowing me to grow as an insightful musician with multifaceted abilities that I’m excited to share through my mentoring work.
After completing my studies and receiving the Prešeren Award, I embarked on a freelance mission across Europe, where I’ve deepened my solo work, especially in the realms of concert and oratorio. On average, about 64% (and growing) of my rent is paid by Bach.
Although in space no one can hear you scream, thanks to our atmosphere, you can hear my voice on various recordings, or maybe even try to catch me live in a concert near you! I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with some of Europe’s top ensembles, performing in truly extraordinary places—like the breathtaking hanging stage of the Julier Pass tower at 2,284 meters. Whether I’m mentoring, recording, performing, or even suspended mid-air, I’m always striving to elevate the art of vocal music.
That said, I still like to keep both feet firmly on the ground. As a huge fan of nature, science, and common sense, I’m always curious about what makes the universe hum.
